Alsace
This unique winegrowing region, which has ping-ponged between German and French ownership, is a must for anyone looking for real variety in their wines. The wines of Alsace are clean and wonderfully aromatic with a huge diversity of styles, which incidentally match Asian cuisine perfectly.
Bibendum Fact
Alsace is one of France's driest wine regions, it gets less rain than Provence and about the same as Coonawarra in Australia. It enjoys long cool growing seasons that easily ripen the grapes.
