Ask any wine retailer which question they are asked most frequently, and the chances are it will be: 'Have you got any Cloudy Bay?', to which the answer will invariably be: 'No!'. Since its first vintage in 1985, this wine was an instant success occupying a unique position in the UK market as the first ever Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand.

This is a legendary winery, responsible for identifying Marlborough as responsible for a great new expression of Sauvignon Blanc. However there is much more to Cloudy Bay; whilst the 'cult' Sauvignon Blanc presents a well defined and fresh style, the Chardonnay is a great contrast with its butterscotch aromas of new oak. As one of the most highly sought after wines in the UK, the rest of the range also consists of a sparkling (named 'Pelorus'), Pinot Noir, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, a fascinating oaked Sauvignon called Te Koko, and without forgetting the extremely rare late-harvest Riesling.
