Producer Information

Montepeloso is found nestled in the hills of Suvereto on the Tuscan coast. The 15 acre estate is known to be one of the hottest parts of Tuscany. In 1997 the wine-maker Fabio Chiarelotto revamped the vineyards - even including some regrafting. He bottles without filtration. Production is limited, although growing as the vineyards mature. These clearly form part of the Super Tuscans, Antonio Galloni remarks with full force that "these are marvelous wines that readers will absolutely not want to miss".
