Willi Brundlmayer is a legend in Austrian winemaking, responsible for some of his country's very best wines. Walking the tightrope that is producing good sized volumes whilst also maintaining the highest possible standards is never easy, but Brundlmayer makes it look like a stroll in the park. He farms his 50 hectares of vines that surround the village of Lagenlois in the Kamptal organically and pays close attention to all aspects of his environment. The wines themselves are characterised by an extraordinary intensity of pure cool-climate fruit.
