It's 'like father like son' at this domaine as thirty-year old Antoine is the spitting image of his quietly-spoken, intelligent father Francois. Their shy, slightly reticent style is reflected in the wines which are the opposite of the fat, oaky Meursaults one often finds elsewhere. Hardly any new oak is used and the malo gently suppressed. The result is a set of finely chiselled wines with a lovely purity and definition. They are keepers too - in Ben Collins' parlance 'they never run out of road'.
