Producer Information

Emmanuel Rouget is the great Henri Jayer's nephew and heir. A tall shy man who was a mechanic in a previous career, Rouget makes wines every bit as sumptuous as his uncle did with the small parcels in Echezeaux and Vosne Romanee's finest Premier Cru, Cros Parantoux, producing the flagship wines. He follows Jayer's teachings of low yields, a pre-fermentation cold soak and judicious use of new oak to create rich, exuberant wines. Superb Pinot Noir from the Cote de Nuits of Burgundy.
