Tasting Notes

Austria's wonder grape puts in another star turn. Now resplendent in bright green livery, the Friendly GV delivers its customary and bewildering array of delicious flavours; peach, apple, pepper, you name it, this wine's got it!

Vinification Details.

The grapes were picked by hand and pressed very carefully. Temperature-controlled fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks in order to preserve freshness and fruitiness.

Producer Information

Gruner Veltliner has effected a Cinderella-like transformation and now finds itself feted like a supermodel. This is thanks to the likes of Lenz Moser, who dreamt of bringing his beloved 'GV' to a wider audience. Everyone who's tasted the Charming and the Friendly GV has signed up for the fan club on the spot. Given these wines' remarkable ability to pair with every food under the sun from seafood to spice, there is absolutely no reason they shouldn't go to the ball.

Regional info.

The grapes are grown mainly in the Kamptal region of Austria. The cold air from the north, the rugged Waldviertel, lowers night temperatures substantially; this gives the wines a fresh and fruity taste. The Kremstal grapes bring more fruitiness & friendliness from warm air rising from the Danube.
