Tasting Notes

A yellow straw colour with glints of old gold, a reminder of the Pinot Noir in the blend. Aromas of ripe fruit, cinnamon & honey are bursting on the nose. A fruity, full & sensual wine!

Vinification Details.

The 4 classic Lanson cuvees - Black Label, Ivory Label, Rose Label & Gold Label - represent a rich collection of champagnes, each with its own distinctive character.

Ivory label Demi Sec comes from a selection of 50 to 60 crus aged for 3 years on lees. The dosage has been refined over the years.

Producer Information

Lanson began producing Champagne in 1760, and today is known for its consistent quality and great ageing potential.Lanson wines are made with a high proportion of Pinot Noir within its blend, with a strong showing throughout the range. The result is a full flavoured wine, with richness and finesse. Lanson also produce their wines in a rather different way to the majority of the region, and do not allow malolactic fermentation to take place within the production process, leading to slightly higher levels of acidity and great ageing potential.
