Classic Sancerre; green fruit, citrus, stony minerality and crisp, crunchy (think fridge-cold granny smith apples) acidity and a fantastic elegance of purity on the finish.

Cold fermented to preserve fruit & freshness.
Producer Information
Part-winemakers, part-cheesemakers, Valerie and Thomas Dezat produce a full, but still elegant, style of Sancerre with plenty of Sauvignon Blanc fruit character. The Monts Damnes, their top cuvee, has a weight and concentration that sets it apart from many of its peers, with a real 'Grand Cru' feel to it. But any of the wines will be a fine match for one of the sharp, goaty Crottin de Chavignols they make when not busy with the vines.
Regional info.
Sourced from the famous Mont Damnes slopes with the optimum conditions for producing great Sancerre. The winery itself is in Chavignol, an area very famous for goat's cheese as well as wine. Andre Neveu retired 7 years ago & the winery is now managed by his daughter Valerie & his son in law Thomas.
