Cool, crisp and fruity with soft tropical fruit notes of pineapple and passion fruit cut by citrussy lime and gooseberry on the refreshing finish.

Cold soaked & cool fermented in stainless steel to preserve the grapes' natural fruit flavours. No oak was used at any point in the production.
Producer Information
Although only started in mid 1998 with no wineries, no vineyards, and no sales, VIA is today already Chile's 4th largest exporter, and its fastest growing wine company. They currently produce over 3.5 million cases of wines in six wineries from vineyards across Chile. The winemaking team is led by Rafael Tirado, who brings vitality and vision - as well as a great eye for winemaking detail - to this king-sized operation.
Regional info.
San Rafael estate lies deep in the heart of Chile's Maule Valley, in the foothills of the Andes. The climate is Mediterranean with hot days and cool nights and variations from the coast to the Andes. The soil is highly permeable with low fertility. Vineyards closer to the Andes foothills produce whites with good balance and expression.
