Producer Information

Dominio de Valdepusa is the historic family estate of Carlos Falco, the Marquis de Grinon. The leading estate in Montes de Toledo (and rated as one of Spain's top 10 by wine writer John Radford), it focuses on international grapes made in a modern, breathtaking style. No expense is spared in the vineyard or cellar in search of perfection and the list of people involved over the years reads like a 'who's who' of the wine world, including such luminaries as Richard Smart, Emile Peynaud and Michel Rolland.

Regional info.

The 41ha estate has been owned by the Marques de Grinon family since 1292 & was the 1st Spanish Estate ever to be granted its own DO in 2002. Produced from the pioneer vineyard of Cabernet in Castilla La-Mancha region & from the first vineyards of Syrah & Petit Verdot planted in Spain in 1991-1992.
