Vinification Details.
Careful selection of best grapes in vineyard and hand harvest in cases. Fermentation with controlled temperature in conical base french rover vats, with post fermentation maceration over a period of 18-20 days.
Malolactic fermentation with refining on its fine dregs for at least 60 days. Quality elevation in small rover barrels for 14 months.

Fruit is sourced from the Roseto degli Abruzzi, Casal Thaulero village. Colle della Corte and Vignafranca vineyards, which are set over an area of 9 Hectares at 70 metres above sea level.
The soil in these vineyards consists of alluvial, sandy silt and is lightly calcareous. Vine planting density is around 6000 plants per hectare, and have an average age of 10 years.
