A lovely fragrant Italian white, with delicate aromas of orange zest, sweet spice and pine.
Vinification Details.
Careful selection of best grapes in vineyard and hand harvest in cases. Fermentation with controlled temperature stainless steel. Malolactic fermentation with refining on its fine dregs for at least 60 days.
Regional info.
The vineyards here are around 35 hectares, and sit at an altitude of 50-250 metres above sea level. The soil in the Fratelli Barba vineyards is alluvial - sandy silt, with a planting density of 4.000 plants per hectare. All the vines are hand harvested and have an average age of 5 - 15 years, with an average production of 90 Hl per Hectare
