Germany 2009
After the initial success of our Germany 2009 offer we are delighted to announce we have secured some extra stocks of many of the wines. For those of you who missed our initial offer earlier in the year, this is a brilliant Riesling vintage producing wines that are forward and fresh with focused fruit and precise minerality.
Jancis Robinson wrote on her website www.jancisrobinson.com: "Winemaking in Germany has never been more brilliant, the weather never in recent times more propitious for ripening grapes fully while retaining the freshness that is German wines' special trait. And the 2009s are easier to like at this early stage than any German vintage I can remember."
High praise indeed and when one considers the price of these wines against top Bordeaux, it is clear that German Rieslings are most underpriced in the world of Fine Wine.
Our offer includes a host of top growers from the Mosel, Rheingau and Nahe including Egon Muller, Donnhoff and Dr Loosen (look out for a recently added stunning 2007 Eiswein from Dr L too).
Every fine wine lover needs some 2009 German Riesling in their life.
Pricing and Delivery Details
All prices are in bond, exclusive of UK Duty and VAT. The wines will be released during autumn 2010 and will be available for delivery before Christmas.
