Chateau Haut Bages Averous

Chateau Haut Bages Averous has, since 1978, been used as the second label for Chateau Lynch Bages. Around 10000 cases are produced annually, the wines see classic vinificaion spending 20-22 months in barrels of which 25% are new annually. The results are well balanced and fruity wines, usually maturing within 5 to 8 years. Few people realise that this is a 'second wine', it certainly doesn't taste like one!
