Michael Mondavi

Michael Mondavi is the eldest son of Robert Mondavi and co-founder and former CEO of the company that bore his father's name. Since the sale of that company to Constellation in 2004, Michael has made wines under his own name from his Animo vineyard on Atlas Peak which was previously used to supply grapes for Opus One.

Michael's wines are among the most elegant and refined in California, a legacy perhaps of his work with the Rothschild and Frescobaldi families. The star of the show is the M by Michael Mondavi wine.
