La Posta

The La Posta project brings together a handful of dedicated grape growers in Mendoza to produce small-scale wines that aim to celebrate individual vineyards. Laura Catena is one of the movers and shakers behind the project, and as with everything she is involved with, the commitment to quality is unstinting. The white is a fresh, unoaked blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Torrontes. The red blends the ubiquitous Malbec with spicy Syrah and perfumed Bonarda to great effect. These are excellent value wines from growers with real pedigree.
