Welcome to the all singing, all dancing, new look Bibendum website - 26/11/2008
Do you ever get that feeling that something is different but you're not quite sure what it is??? Well not round here - that's for sure!
The Bibendum website has undergone a dramatic upgrade that will really improve the way it interacts with you, dear visitors. The main changes and the reasons for these are as follows:
- New look and structure of homepage - get to the wine quicker!
- Sidebar navigation and resultant ease of use
- Easier overview of wines on offer, especially when breaking it down by region and sub-region
- Clearer product pages
- It is even more safe and secure. We are using an external card processing company called Protx and the payment process is now compliant with new government laws.
- More personal welcome and easier, quicker access to special offers
- Buy under bond online
- Buy en primeur, broking wines, fine wines, everyday drinking wines and wines that are 'due in' all via the same process. Talk about easy!
We had to flick a really big switch to do this, which let off all sorts of fireworks so it may take a little while for the new site to settle down. Please be patient while we iron out the kinks. Even better please feedback any issues or tell us what's good (or bad) about the new site.
