Awards all round

Tuesday, 20th May; at the London Wine Fair today both the International Wine Challenge (IWC) and the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) were announced, and there were gold medals and trophies for several Bibendum producers.

Balfour Brut Rose 2004, in its debut vintage, bagged a gold medal at the IWC - the only English wine to do so. Meanwhile St Hallett Old Block Shiraz 2004 won gold not only at the IWC but in Decanter's competition too! It was a memorable day for St Hallett and winemaker Toby Barlow as his Gamekeeper's Reserve 2007 won the Decanter Red Rhone Varietal Trophy. Here are the winners...
