Etim tops Spanish Whites tasting - 10/05/2007
The delicious Etim Blanco top scored in Julia Harding MW's recent notes from a tasting of Spanish white wines.
This white garnacha won her favour and a score of 17.5/20. Julia said:
"Oaky, smoky slightly reductive notes at first. A touch of grapefruit and lemon zest. More obviously oaky on the palate but not overdone, savoury and a little toasty. Beautifully balanced. Fresh and mouthwatering length. Part fermented in French oak and part aged on lees. Arrow-like yet dense. Very long and moreish. 13.5%"
