Bibendum is a Best Company to work for - 09/02/2009
In January 2009 Bibendum was thrilled to achieve Best Companies One Star Accreditation status for the fourth consecutive year. In total only 209 organisations in the UK achieved One Star Accreditation.
Here's what out HR Manager, Nichola Burrows had to say:
"This is a really great achievement for all of us, especially given the challenges the wine industry is facing and it confirms that Bibendum continues to be a remarkable place to work and one in which we all make an invaluable contribution."
What is Best Companies?
The only UK guide to the best companies to work for based on what the employees really think.
How does it work?
Best Companies Accreditation follows the elite 'Michelin style' star rating system for organisations that demonstrate high levels of employee engagement. Based on staff feedback, organisations receive a Best Companies index score which will determine their star rating compared to a fixed standard. Accreditation is a constant, year-round reminder of an organisation's status of being an exceptional place to work, with high levels of Workplace Engagement.
Accreditation is awarded on the analysis of questions within the Best Companies employee survey. Employees are asked to fill out a questionnaire with 8 key factors of workplace engagement: Leadership, Well Being, My Manager, My Team, My Company, Personal Growth, Giving Something Back and Fair Deal. These questions remain consistent over years, providing an unchanging platform for measurement.
