IWC Gold Medal winners raised to Trophy level - 03/07/2009

Building on the excellent performance of many of our wines in the recent wine competitions (see more here), three of our IWC Gold medal winners have been elevated to Trophy status in the recent unveiling of results.

Top of the pile is the brilliant Champagne de Castellane Rose NV which won the prestigious Rose Champagne Trophy, beating off some tough (and far more expensive) competition.

Another headline trophy was awarded to Prinz von Hessen Winkeler Jesuitengarten Riesling Erster Gewachs 2007 which scooped the gong for best International Riesling.

And last but by no means least, the Aglianico Trophy went to Bisceglia's brilliant Gudarra Aglianico del Vulture DOC 2005.
