What are the best storage conditions?

Dry, cool areas where there are no sudden temperature fluctuations are best. Heat is a real enemy of wine preservation (so not on top of the cooker, then) and extreme cold can also cause wine to fall apart (so the garden shed isn't great if it goes below around 5 degrees C in Winter). A happy medium of between 13-17C is ideal... and no vibrations - so preferably not next to the workbench / sub woofer.
